A Stunning Sotogrande Wedding in Spain captured by Jeremy Standley

If you dream of a luxury destination wedding in southern Spain, Teresa and Mat’s elegant celebration at Finca Monasterio near Sotogrande is perfect inspiration. This stunning Andalusian wedding venue, once a historic monastery, is now a boutique hotel surrounded by olive groves.

Getting Ready at the Finca Monasterio

Planned with precision and creativity by Jess & her team at White Wedding Days, every element of this black-tie celebration reflected effortless sophistication. It was a relaxed day for Teresa and Mat as they got ready for their big day here in Spain.

Teresa is a former Olympic swimmer and opted for a beautiful elegant dress with her hair up in a loose style bun. Mat, a professional photographer, and his groomsmen looked like something out of a movie in their sharp, sophisticated black suits. No pressure there for Jeremy photographing a fellow pro's wedding and Men in Black springs to mind!

Teresa chose a soft sage green for her bridal party with coordinating bouquets, created by Jess and her team, a mix of eucalyptus, greenery, white roses and alstromeria. Teresa's bouquet also included shades of soft apricot.

The Wedding Ceremony

Teresa & Mat exchanged vows beneath the natural arch, always a beautiful setting for wedding ceremonies at the Finca Monasterio. Zoom in to see the cute cut-outs of their beloved fur babies whom of course had to be included!

The Cocktail & Reception

After the ceremony, guests were invited into the Andalucian style courtyard for cocktail, jamon, canapes and serenaded by Jesus on the Spanish guitar.

Guests enjoyed the best of Spanish cuisine and local wines, taking time over each course in true Andalusian style. The soft neutral palette, touches of gold, and candle lit ambience reflected White Wedding Days’ signature design, it was chic, inviting and perfect for the outdoor setting at the Monasterio.
