Stunning Jewish Wedding at Finca de la Concepcion by Marc Sharer Events

The Finca de la Concepcion is one of the largest event spaces in Marbella set in magnificent gardens filled with ancient palm trees and many mature tropical plants.

The Finca covers over 10,000 square meters offering different spaces to tailor your wedding so it flows seamlessly from the ceremony to the cocktail then dinner and dancing.

Originally built as one of the first foundries in 1837 it was eventually abandoned until the owner restored the finca into a beautiful Cortijo.

It is a completely private location with a sweeping drive through the gardens until you reach the main venue areas consisting of a large garden, a fountain, pool area and more recently a restored area under the most stunning backdrop of some of the original ruins of the foundry.

Where is the Finca de la Concepcion in Marbella?

The Finca la Concepcion is located on the Istan Road. You exit the main Golden Mile opposite Puente Romano hotel and drive inland for about 10 minutes past the mosque and the Manolo Racquet Club.

Despite its private location it is very close to the centre of Marbella yet far enough away to be able to have music outside for your event all evening. For this reason it is also popular for concerts and other events during the summer.

The Jewish Ceremony of Oliver and Hannah at the Finca de la Concepcion

On a glorious day last September Hannah and Oliver celebrated their wedding under a beautiful floral chuppah set under the finca’s ruins for a dramatic backdrop.

The ceremony colour scheme was white blended with soft greens and pinks and guests were kept comfortable with shade provided under white Balinese style parasols.

We love the welcome sign and all the thoughtful details for the guests including the paper parasols and fans. Whilst September is a pleasant month, here in Marbella it can still be quite hot, keeping guests cool and comfortable must always be considered when hosting a wedding in the summer season.

After the ceremony the guests were led through to enjoy a cocktail hour by the pool. Delicious canapes by Sana Catering were accompanied with personalised cocktails.

Wedding Reception Details at Finca de la Concepcion

Long wooden tables were decorated with a mix of crystal and gold vases filled with roses, dahlias and hydrangeas interspersed with candles in glassware lending itself to a romantic setting when darkness fell.

Spanish tiles were used as the table seating plan and also as the table numbers.

As night time fell the Finca de la Concepcion turned into the most magical location and the evening's entertainment was kicked off by Totem Superstars.
