On a beautiful June summers day just outside Marbella, Anna and Timur tied the knot with an intimate celebration surrounded by 80 of their closest friends and family.

This elegant wedding was held at the stunning Molino Del Duque and planned perfectly by Lali at Ocean Weddings in Spain.

The Couple's Story

Anna and Timur first met as friends in their home country of Ukraine. As their love story bloomed they started dating but then were forced to relocate to Miami as the Ukraine war broke out. Their wedding was more than just a celebration of love, it was a reunion with their loved ones, some sadly unable to attend due to ongoing visa and travel challenges.

The couple opted for an elegant, classic romantic style using whites, greens and golds to compliment the beautiful surroundings of the Molino Del Duque.

The Wedding Ceremony at the Molino Del Duque

Anna and Timur's wedding ceremony included some of their Ukraine wedding traditions, the Rushnyk Cloth. The Rushnyk cloth is a traditional embroidered cloth, the person that steps on the cloth first is supposed to 'wear the pants' in the household and will have the final say! As a lovely gesture the groom always lets the bride step on the cloth first to show love and respect.

Timur is Jewish so they also incorporated the 'smashing of the glass', one of our favourite Jewish traditions to end the wedding ceremony.

After a beautiful ceremony guests were then treated to a live Flamenco show during the cocktail hour followed by a delicious sit down meal. Anna and Timur opted for a sweetheart table and during the dinner their nephew sung a beautiful song. The styling throughout the wedding was elegant with white blooms, greenery and gold accents creating an elegant, romantic setting. Papelsophie provided white and gold stationery that added just the right amount of details to the beautiful table settings.

Entertainment was a key highlight so to end the dinner a fantastic, creative live dessert show delighted the children and adults. Then it was time to party and work off many of the delicious dishes throughout the evening.

The evenings entertainment was an open bar accompanied by the So Perfect Orchestra keeping the energy high into the night. Another beautiful highlight was the parents performing a beautiful tango after Anna and Timur's first dance.

This black tie wedding was a stunning success and we hope they will all be reunited with the rest of their family and friends soon.
